Manuel Gomez, President
Expert on Terrorism, Corporate Security

mgomezMr. Gomez is a former Principal Relief Supervisor and Special Agent with the FBI. He investigated terrorism and espionage cases as an agent in the National Security Division. He was a certified undercover agent and successfully completed Agent Survival School. He is a recipient of the prestigious FBI Investigator of the Year award for identifying and neutralizing clandestine activities by hostile intelligence services against the U.S. As a result of his investigations, members of the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) received significant and substantial intelligence that was extensively used by the Executive Branch of the Government in formulating effective and productive foreign policy. Mr. Gomez worked closely in these investigations with the USIC, including the CIA, NSA and DOD.

Mr. Gomez is also a former Sergeant in the NYPD where he supervised patrol and investigative activities of numerous police officers, detectives and civilian personnel. Mr. Gomez worked as a uniformed and plainclothes officer in combating narcotics trafficking, violent crimes, and quality of life concerns. He has executed over 100 arrests and received Departmental recognition on eight separate occasions.

Mr. Gomez has a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree and is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law where he was on the Dean's list. He is admitted to the New York and New Jersey Bar. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps infantry.

Manny is also the Chairman of the Board of the National Law Enforcement Association (NLEA). He is also a member serving on the Board of Governors for the American Academy of Professional Law Enforcement (AAPLE). Manny is a member of the ASIS International Security Council as well as a member of the National Security Alliance (NSA).

Kevin Harrington, Chief Operating Officer

Harrington Kevin has recently completed a 25 year career with the New York City Police Department where he retired as a Chief in the Detective Bureau. He served in all five boroughs of the City in numerous uniform/investigative assignments throughout his career.

Designated as the Commanding Officer of the 46th Precinct, he helped the department achieve an unprecedented reduction in index related crimes. His command was twice chosen for the coveted Unit Citation. He would go on to serve as the Operations Commander in the Patrol Borough Bronx command. In this role, Kevin served as the agency executive to help coordinate multi-agency resources for Papal and Presidential visits. Kevin was part of the executive staff that implemented the NYPD's Gang/Crew initiative to address gun related violence in the Bronx.

Upon finishing in 2013 with a historically low number of gun related assaults, he was chosen to head the Detective Bureau's Grand Larceny Division. Kevin was in command of 265 Supervisors and Detectives who were responsible for identifying and tracking high value offenders. The unit was tasked with investigating organized groups that would engage in complex fraudulent schemes. The Division included a Joint NYPD/F.B.I Cyber Financial Task Forces who would aggressively pursue sophisticated criminal enterprises. Additionally, the Division conducted numerous joint investigations with the Internal Revenue Services and the Department of Homeland Security. He also commanded the department’s Financial Crimes Task Force with numerous units: Identity Theft Squad, Document Frauds Unit, Special Frauds Squad, and the Organized Theft Squad.

Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree from Seton Hall University. He has attended numerous law enforcement centric training programs through various agencies. While garnering significant accomplishments in law enforcement, Kevin has collected over 100 clergy, political and community based awards from the myriad of communities throughout New York City.

Christian Ferraro, V.P. Chief Strategy Officer
Expert on Counter-Terrorism Strategies, Risk Assessment

Christian FerraroMr. Ferraro is a twenty-one year veteran of the U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command, where he served as a ship's officer and training officer. His experience in Shipboard Security Tactics, Anti-Terrorism, and Company Security Officer platforms is an invaluable asset to land-based security issues. An important strategy principle Mr. Ferraro has adopted is to confound the security threat and make it inert by operating within its decision making cycle. His method to achieve this goal is providing extensive training to exceptional personnel capable of making appropriate decisions in unforeseen circumstances. Mr. Ferraro is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy and Fordham University School of Law.

Steven Gleeman, Senior Account Manager
Expert on Quality Control

sgleemanMr. Gleeman formerly oversaw operations and logistics at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York City. As Senior Convention Manager at the Javits Center, Mr. Gleeman was directly responsible for ensuring the proper execution of all major trade shows, special events and conferences. Mr. Gleeman's expertise is in technical and logistical management and worked with some of the country's premier management companies. Through his skill and reputation, Mr. Gleeman was responsible for liaising with various federal and local agencies while managing events featuring heads of state, current and former national political leaders, as well as leading business innovators in the private sector. Mr. Gleeman displayed a strong emphasis on public safety, and worked tirelessly to ensure proper safeguards for all events.

Prior to working at the Javits Center, Mr. Gleeman received his Bachelors Degree as a Fightin' Blue Hen from the University of Delaware. While at UD, Mr. Gleeman studied hospitality services and information technology. As one of the founding members of the University's chapter of Hospitality, Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), Mr. Gleeman also focused on community affairs and fundraising for local charities by way of his membership in the Alpha Beta Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho, ultimately running day to day operations as Vice President of the chapter.

Alexander B. Timlin
Vice President of Crisis and Emergency Management Planning

Timlin is an emergency management planning and exercise subject matter expert for private and public sector organizations with experience in Fire Service and Emergency Management. Mr. Timlin has extensively written and revised emergency plans and was also actively involved in planning and response activities for New York City. As a member of the Fire Department New York (FDNY) Mr. Timlin rose to the rank of Lieutenant, Ladder Co.1, New York, NY.

Alexander worked at the New York City Office of Emergency Management from 2003-2007. As an Interagency Coordinator for the Field Response Unit, Mr. Timlin managed emergency scenes from arrival through recovery. Under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner of External Affairs he assisted in emergency preparedness initiatives for the private sector and consulted corporate preparedness committees in all hazard and business continuity planning. He has also provided crisis management and communication planning. Mr. Timlin has consulted at the NYU Langone Medical Center in Emergency Management and Enterprise Resilience; assisting in emergency management, business continuity and disaster recovery. He has provided direct support to the NJ Office of Homeland Security (NJ OHSP) in resiliency planning and has assisted on the development of the Training Program Framework of course outlines for the NY-NJ-CT-PA Regional Catastrophic Planning Team.

Mr. Timlin was the NYC Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) Coordinator, and produced the New York City Hazardous Material Response Plan. Mr. Timlin then coordinated the Executive Level Committee with representatives from each agency to collaborate and present the plan according to state and federal requirements.
