Mr. Gleeman formerly oversaw operations and logistics at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York City. As Senior Convention Manager at the Javits Center, Mr. Gleeman was directly responsible for ensuring the proper execution of all major trade shows, special events and conferences. Mr. Gleeman’s expertise is in technical and logistical management and worked with some of the country’s premier management companies. Through his skill and reputation, Mr. Gleeman was responsible for liaising with various federal and local agencies while managing events featuring heads of state, current and former national political leaders, as well as leading business innovators in the private sector. Mr. Gleeman displayed a strong emphasis on public safety, and worked tirelessly to ensure proper safeguards for all events.
Prior to working at the Javits Center, Mr. Gleeman received his Bachelors Degree as a Fightin’ Blue Hen from the University of Delaware. While at UD, Mr. Gleeman studied hospitality services and information technology. As one of the founding members of the University’s chapter of Hospitality, Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), Mr. Gleeman also focused on community affairs and fundraising for local charities by way of his membership in the Alpha Beta Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho, ultimately running day to day operations as Vice President of the chapter.
