Kevin Harrington

President / CEO

Kevin Harrington is the President & Chief Executive Officer of MG Security and brings a wealth of experience to his role. Having previously excelled as the Chief Operating Officer, his transition aligns seamlessly with the national vision set by Protos Security, marking a pivotal step forward for MG as it navigates into the future.

Prior to joining MG Security, he completed a 25-year career with the New York City Police Department, where he retired as a Chief in the Detective Bureau. He served in all five boroughs of the city in numerous uniform/investigative assignments throughout his career. Designated as the Commanding Officer of the 46th Precinct, he helped the department achieve an unprecedented reduction in index related crimes. His command was twice chosen for the coveted Unit Citation. Additionally, he served as the Operations Commander in the Patrol Borough Bronx command. Kevin was part of the executive staff that implemented the NYPD’s Gang/Crew initiative to address gun related violence in the Bronx.

Upon finishing in 2013 with a historically low number of gun related assaults, he was chosen to head the Detective Bureau’s Grand Larceny Division. Kevin was in command of 265 Supervisors and Detectives who were responsible for identifying and tracking high-value offenders. Kevin has collected over 100 clergy, political and community-based awards from the myriad of communities throughout New York City. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Seton Hall University.

Steven Gleeman

Director of Client Relations

Steven Gleeman serves as Senior Account Manager. Formerly overseeing operations and logistics at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center of New York City, Steven ensured the seamless execution of major trade shows and conferences. With expertise in technical and logistical management, he collaborated with premier management companies, liaising with federal and local agencies to manage events featuring heads of state, political leaders and business innovators. Prioritizing public safety, Mr. Gleeman demonstrated a commitment to safeguarding all events. Steven holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware where he was a founding member of the university’s Hospitality, Financial and Technology Professionals chapter. As Vice President of the Alpha Beta Chapter of Kappa Delta Rho, he actively contributed to community affairs and fundraising for local charities during his undergraduate years.

Michael Baker

Director of Operations

Michael Baker serves as Director of Operations for MG Security after completing a nearly 25-year career with the New York City Police Department where he retired as a Chief within the Strategic Initiatives Bureau, overseeing the Office of Management, Analysis and Planning. He was responsible for developing the department’s policies and procedures, supervising analysis and leading the agency in planning and management activities to support strategic problem-solving.
Michael has worked in various investigative, administrative and operational assignments, including his tenure as Commanding Officer of the 30th, 32nd Precincts, Office of Crime Control Strategies, and Office for Community Partnerships. Additionally, Michael provided oversight of for New York City’s 311 call system and was assigned Senior advisor for Public Safety to the First Deputy Mayor.
He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and is a graduate of the Columbia Business School Police Management Institute. He is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and Police Executive Research Forum (PERF).

Shaw Noor

Director

Shaw Noor, Director at MG Security, brings a unique blend of academic and practical experience to the field of security services. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University at Buffalo (SUNY), he began his journey with MGSS as a security officer during his summers, gaining valuable on-the-ground insight. His commitment to excellence and a forward-thinking approach made him a natural addition to the corporate office, where he demonstrated his swift grasp of the industry and talent for building relationships. His problem-solving acumen propelled him through rapid promotions, starting as Scheduling Manager and progressing to Client Services Manager, Assistant Director, and finally, Director. Shaw has successfully led teams in implementing strategic solutions to security within the healthcare vertical. His commitment to continuous learning is further exemplified through his studies at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania for Executive Education, a testament to his dedication to enhancing his leadership skills and strategic vision.

Jason Montagna

Controller

Jason is the Controller for MG Security, bringing over 22 years of diverse experience in accounting to the company. He has experience in a variety of industries, including public accounting, the manufacturing field, the food and beverage industry, staffing industry and childcare. He also has five years of experience working in construction and health care. Jason graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in 2006. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
